Level Two: Award in Security Guarding (Retail)

This course is designed to assist in the standardisation of the training competencies required by Retail Security Officers on a national level.

The course content complies with the recommended training syllabus in the British Standard BS 7499:2007 Retail Guarding, Mobile Patrol & Keyholding services. It will also provide the underpinning knowledge required to achieve the level 2 award in security guarding (Retail) which is accredited by the National Open College Network. The course consists of 3 parts, Part1 is the Working in The Private Security Industry (Common Unit), part 2 is the roles and responsibilities as detailed below in course contents and part 3 is Communication & Conflict Management Skills
